We're seeing significant declines in data usage for categories that used to dominate our daily lives, like dating and personals, ride sharing, and dining events. We're also seeing that people are still not as comfortable in enclosed spaces with other people as they were pre-COVID. Another significant downward trend is the % decrease in searches for horror films - there are enough scary things happening in our daily lives and we would rather not resort to artificial terror. There's also a sharp % decline in activity related to DVD Job Function Email List and video purchases in general, as consumers turn to streaming services...and perhaps even to the cinema. ShareThis data shows recent interest in movie listings and showing times, indicating that while our customers are still nervous about enclosed spaces, they are starting to return to the theater. This trend is reinforced by the record numbers of Spider-Man: No Way Home (which is approaching $ million domestically. The Batman (which reached $ million in North America after just two weekends). ends). Our data also shows that many users are looking for small kitchen appliances, putting cooking skills honed in quarantine to good use. (And speaking of which, have you checked out the ShareThis cookbook yet?!) The new business landscape is also booming, with a surge in searches for stocks and bonds and enterprise resource planning software.
